Tool Overview
ToonCrafter AI is an open-source generative cartoon interpolation tool that uses pre-trained image-to-video diffusion priors. It effortlessly creates smooth animations from two cartoon images. Key features include image interpolation, a learning strategy adapting live-action video motion priors to the cartoon domain, and a flexible sketch encoder for interactive control. It also supports ComfyUI through the ComfyUI-ToonCrafter integration.
Use cases include cartoon sketch interpolation, reference-based sketch colorization, and sparse sketch-guided generation. The tool aims to enhance animation production efficiency by consistently filling gaps between frames and resolving domain gaps.
To get started, select two images, input a prompt, and generate the animation. It is an open-source research tool, licensed under Apache-2.0.
